Embroidery Machine

I restored and converted a 1951 Singer sewing machine into an embroidery machine. I designed and built the base and embroidery unit from scratch. It takes SVG images and is controlled by an Intel Edison.

My project represented Intel in Makezine’s article about Maker Faire Austin 2017, and won a Maker of Merit award.
